The signs

Every sign, as a tracing from a real object, sized by how often it turns up. Tap one to see it in context on other documents.

Not a font. A font glyph is a modern artist's clean-up. These crops are the strokes as somebody drew them off the clay, and they vary, because scribes did.

Three kinds. Syllabograms stand for a sound, and the sound comes from Linear B, where the same shape is read. Logograms stand for a thing: wine, figs, a person. Fractions are the small marks after a number. Where nobody has sorted a sign into a kind, it says so.

The count under each sign is the documents it appears in, in any of the three layers we hold (the word list, the sign-by-sign text, the SigLA tracings), out of 1,817 of 1,880 documents with any sign at all. The layers do not agree with each other, and each sign page shows all three.
